Established in 2006, Angel City Derby (ACD) is Los Angeles’ world-renowned competitive Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby League. Now celebrating their 12th year, ACD is entirely volunteer-run, skater-owned and operated, 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. Their charter team, the Hollywood Scarlets, have been contenders for the Hydra (aka 1st place) for 5 consecutive seasons at the WFTDA International Championships.
ACD is comprised of athletes of all ages who have come together purely out of love of the sport and desire to encourage female-driven athletics. ACD has 5 competitive adult teams, 8 levels of adult skaters, and growing juniors program for young skaters ages 7-17.
Interested in joining? Their New Recruits program occurs twice a year at their warehouse in Gardena, California. They accept all skill levels, no prior skating or derby experience needed!
