Laurie teaches Zumba® Gold classes at the YMCA in La Crosse and Onalaska, Wisconsin. The main goal in her classes is to have fun and celebrate our bodies! You can follow her choreography or dance to the beat of your own drum. She promises never to engage in diet talk, negative fat talk, or body shaming during class (nor in her everyday life).

Dr. Laurie is also a Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She earned her Ph.D. and graduate concentration in Women's and Gender Studies and her research focuses on racism and sexism in education, gendered violence, and fat studies. We pride ourselves on a superior fit. Use this chart to find the right size Superfits for you. 

Bottoms: It's all about the hips! Measure your hips at their widest point using a soft measuring tape. Between sizes? If your body is hourglass shaped, size down. If you are more apple or box-shaped, choose the larger size. 

Bras: Measure your bust at the widest point. If you are between sizes and have cup size A-D, size up. For cup size DD and above, size down.
